Harvard Family Research Project's evaluation periodical, The Evaluation Exchange, addresses current issues facing program evaluators of all levels, with articles written by the most prominent evaluators in the field. Designed as an ongoing discussion among evaluators, program practitioners, funders, and policymakers, The Evaluation Exchange highlights innovative methods and approaches to evaluation, emerging trends in evaluation practice, and practical applications of evaluation theory. It goes out to its subscribers free of charge four times per year.

The "Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation" is published by the Canadian Evaluation Society. It seeks to promote the theory and practice of program evaluation in Canada by publishing:
Articles on all aspects of the theory and practice of evaluation, including methodology, evaluation standards, implementation of evaluations, reporting and use of studies, and the audit or metaevaluation of evaluation; Research and Practice Notes that provide practical examples of the applications of particular methodologies or procedures within the context of a particuar study or group of studies; Book Reviews of relevance to the practice in Canada.

In close collaboration with the Federal Office of Public Health's Evaluation Management & Resource Centre (CCE), the Swiss Evaluation Society has developed a networking and information tool in the field of evaluation: the interactive database "Evaluators": Whether you work in the private sector, in public administration, for an NGO or in a University, the database allows you: -to get your profile as an evaluator known in the evaluation community; -to search systematically for evaluators, commissioners of evaluations or research partners; -and to quickly get an overview of who is involved in evaluation in Switzerland.

"Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis" is published by the American Educational Research Association. EEPA publishes manuscripts of theoretical or practical interest to those engaged in educational evaluation or policy analysis, including economics, demographic, financial, and political analyses of education policies; syntheses of previously completed policy studies, evaluation theories, and methodologies; results of significant evaluation efforts; retrospective views of evaluation studies, and book reviews related to educational evaluation and policy issues. The Japan Evaluation Society was established in 2000. Since then, its professional journal, called Japanese Journal of Evaluation Study (JJES), has been published twice a year. These issues can be downloaded from the SocietyÂ’s website. ISSN: unknown

The Nigerien Network of Monitoring and Evaluation (ReNSE) is an informal group of monitoring and evaluation professionals. Its overall objective is to foster a sustainable national process of capacity-building in monitoring and evaluation through the setting-up of a forum that will contribute to the definition of standards, methodologies and professional practices in Niger. The creation of this network in August 1999 is part of an African process aiming at the creation national M&E networks as well as a global effort to constitute a world community for monitoring and evaluation.

f-eval (Forum Evaluation) is a German language evaluation mailing list, which has been founded in 1997. All topics related to evaluation can be discussed here.
This mailing list is run in cooperation with DeGEval http://www.degeval.de, the German language Evaluation Society. For this mailing list, majordomo software is used.

This site at the Evaluation Center of the Western Michigan University provides evaluation specialists and users with refereed checklists for designing, budgeting, contracting, staffing, managing, and assessing evaluations of programs, personnel, students, and other evaluands; collecting, analyzing, and reporting evaluation information; and determining merit, worth, and significance. Each checklist is a distillation of valuable lessons learned from practice.
The site's purpose is to improve the quality and consistency of evaluations and enhance evaluation capacity through the promotion and use of high-quality checklists targeted to specific evaluation tasks and approaches.

"Evaluation Portal - Event Calendar" is an international calendar where you can register evaluation events (congresses, basic and advanced training events, methodological training, lectures, workshops, and everything useful in the field of evaluation) and search for them. This no-cost service is part of the Evaluation Portal, maintained by Lars Balzer.
