The Evaluation Center's mission (at the Western Michigan University) is to advance the theory, practice, and utilization of evaluation. The Center's principal activities are research, development, dissemination, service, instruction, and national and international leadership in evaluation.

The Center of Evaluation for Global Action (CEGA) is a multi-disciplinary research center at the University of California, Berkeley advancing global health and development through impact evaluation and economic analysis. The Center is premised on the principle that knowledge gained from randomized trials - and other rigorous forms of evaluation - is a valuable public good that can improve policy and outcomes around the world.

SPEC Associates is a nonprofit research and evaluation organization located in downtown Detroit. Originally established in 1980, SPEC Associates provides research services that help organizations become more effective at helping people. SPEC provides high-quality information services to government agencies, non-profit organizations, and foundations.
SPEC Associates has recently converted to a nonprofit corporation.
SPEC Associates offers a variety of research services, including need assessments, process and outcome evaluation research, surveys and focus group interviewing.

The Office of University Evaluation at Arizona State University is a research and service facility which focuses primarily on assessing and improving the effectiveness of the university's academic programs. We also conduct studies to help support administrative decision making and planning. To help accomplish these goals, the office conducts, coordinates, and manages annual and ad hoc research projects. These projects help assess the degree to which courses, curricula, and academic programs impart knowledge to students. These projects also help inform ASU about the student experience. The results of these studies, or assessments, are used to enhance the intellectual integrity of an ASU education and to improve ASU's effectiveness.
