The Swiss Evaluation Society's goal is to foster the exchange of information and experience in the field of evaluation between politics, administration, academia, NGOs and the private sector. The SEVAL actively engages in improving the quality of evaluation and its diffusion. About 300 members represent a number of different positions in the field of evaluation: they work as evaluators for commissioned evaluations, as evaluation commissioner, they teach courses or counsel commissioners as evaluation experts.

The South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA), which has been founded in November 2005, strives to cultivate a vibrant community that will support, guide and strengthen the development of monitoring and evaluation (M&E) as an important discipline, profession and instrument for empowerment and accountability in South Africa. Through this it intends to promote the recognition of M&E as a profession and discipline essential to development, and practiced and used in a manner that adds significant value to effective, sustainable development in South Africa. SAMEA embodies the formalisation of the South African Evaluation Network (SAENet), which was established in 2002.

La Société Française de l'Évaluation (SFE) a été fondée en juin 1999 à Marseille. Elle a pour vocation générale de contribuer au développement de l'évaluation et de promouvoir son utilisation dans les organisations publiques et privées, et, aussi au sein des collectivités en charge de l'élaboration et de la mise en oeuvre des politiques publiques. Elle s'efforce notamment de faire progresser les techniques, les méthodes et de favoriser le respect de règles éthiques et procédurales propres à garantir la qualité des évaluations ainsi qu'un usage approprié de leurs résultats. C’est un lieu de rassemblement, d'échanges et de formation ouvert à tous les acteurs de l'évaluation -commanditaires, praticiens et utilisateurs- des secteurs tant publics que privés. ***** The French Evaluation Society (SFE) was created in 1999 with an aim to develop the practice and use of evaluation. It contributes to the progress of methods, ethical principles, and quality standards.
