The purpose of the Evaluation Journal of Australasia (EJA) is to further the aims of the Australasia Evaluation Society (AES) in promoting the theory, research and practice of evaluation. To do so it publishes articles of professional merit on any subject connected with evaluation, together with news and information of professional interest to members of AES.
All members and other people involved in the practice, study or teaching of evaluation are invited to submit articles, reports, reviews or news items for publication.
The Evaluation Journal of Australasia is published twice a year. Issues of the Journal are available free for downloading, six months after publication.

To promote dialogue internationally and to build bridges within the expanding evaluation field, "Evaluation - The International Journal of Theory, Research and Practice" was launched in July 1995.
"Evaluation" is interdisciplinary, bringing together contributions from across the social sciences and related disciplines.
The journal publishes multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary and issue-based contributions.
"Evaluation" encourages dialogue between different evaluation traditions such as program evaluation, technology assessment, auditing, value-added studies, policy evaluation and quality assessment.
Edited from a European base, "Evaluation" is an international journal which promotes exchange between European, North American, Asian and Australasian voices within the evaluation community.

"Evaluation and Program Planning" is based on the principle that the techniques and methods of evaluation and planning transcend the boundaries of specific fields and that relevant contributions to these areas come from people representing many different positions, intellectual traditions, and interests. In order to further the development of evaluation and planning, this journal publishes articles from the private and public sectors in a wide range of areas: organizational development and behavior, training, planning, human resource development, health and mental, social services, mental retardation, corrections, substance abuse, and education. The primary goals of the journal are to assist evaluators and planners to improve the practice of their professions, to develop their skills and to improve their knowledge base. "Studies in Educational Evaluation" publishes original reports of evaluation studies. Four types of articles are published by the journal:
(a) empirical evaluation studies representing evaluation practice in educational systems around the world;
(b) theoretical reflections and empirical studies related to issues involved in the evaluation of educational programs, educational institutions, educational personnel and student assessment;
(c) articles summarizing the state-of-the-art concerning specific topics in evaluation in general or in a particular country or group of countries;
(d) book reviews and brief abstracts of evaluation studies.

The major aims of "Performance Evaluation" are to:
(1) collect and disseminate information relative to performance aspects, and in particular to the topics described below;
(2) promote interdisciplinary flow of technical information among researchers and professionals; and
(3) serve as a publication medium for various special interest groups in the performance community at large.
Topics are drawn from, but are not restricted to, the following areas:
- Performance studies of computers, computer communications, telecommunications and distributed systems;
- Resource allocation and control methods and algorithms (e.g. routing and flow control in networks, bandwidth allocation, processor scheduling, memory management);
- System reliability;
- Modeling and analysis methods (e.g. queueing and scheduling theory, simulation methods, data analysis);

The "Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation" is published by the Canadian Evaluation Society. It seeks to promote the theory and practice of program evaluation in Canada by publishing:
Articles on all aspects of the theory and practice of evaluation, including methodology, evaluation standards, implementation of evaluations, reporting and use of studies, and the audit or metaevaluation of evaluation; Research and Practice Notes that provide practical examples of the applications of particular methodologies or procedures within the context of a particuar study or group of studies; Book Reviews of relevance to the practice in Canada.

"Educational Evaluation and Policy Analysis" is published by the American Educational Research Association. EEPA publishes manuscripts of theoretical or practical interest to those engaged in educational evaluation or policy analysis, including economics, demographic, financial, and political analyses of education policies; syntheses of previously completed policy studies, evaluation theories, and methodologies; results of significant evaluation efforts; retrospective views of evaluation studies, and book reviews related to educational evaluation and policy issues. The American Journal of Evaluation (AJE) publishes original papers about the methods, theory, practice, and findings of evaluation. The general goal of AJE is to present the best work in and about evaluation, in order to improve the knowledge base and practice of its readers. Because the field of evaluation is diverse, with different intellectual traditions, approaches to practice, and domains of application, the papers published in AJE will reflect this diversity. Nevertheless, preference is given to papers that are likely to be of interest to a wide range of evaluators and that are written to be accessible to most readers. AJE is one of two official publications of the American Evaluation Association.

The "Journal of Evaluation in Clinical Practice" is a high quality international scholarly journal which is concerned with the evaluation and development of clinical practice across medicine, nursing and the allied health professions. All aspects of health services research and public health policy analysis and debate are of interest to the journal whether studied from a population-based or individual patient-centred perspective.
